Anna has a Master’s degree in Social Development from the International Institute of Social Studies in The Netherlands, an undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Stellenbosch, a teaching degree from Unisa and a Diploma in Business Management and Entrepreneurship (Cape Technikon). Anna also has a Certificate in Motor Development and Rehabilitation (Association of Motor Development Therapy SA). Anna grew up in a farming community and from a very young age she knew that her life would somehow involve giving back to rural children and helping them build positive self worth and self esteem. Anna worked in the development sector for various NGO’s before founding the Anna Foundation in 2005.
