LumoHawk hands over custom-made glasses to Simonsig after-school

LumoHawk Foundation returned to sunny Stellenbosch on Friday, 5 April to facilitate the first in a series of glasses’ handovers, this one at Simonsig after-school. The next handover is due on 13 April in Grabouw, for the Monteith after-school. During the 2019 Absa Cape Epic, LumoHawk’s team of student optometrists from the University of Johannesburg tested the eyes of 148 children in total. WINS AND SMILES ON SCENIC STELLENBOSCH TRAILS

The past weekend was an active one for the Anna Foundation’s children. With such lovely weather and scenic trails, we wouldn’t have it any other way! On Saturday (9 February), the children from the Simonsig after-school brightened up the 5 km Simonsig Fun Run hosted by Trail Fun Series.
