This past long weekend on Friday 16 June 2017, the Anna Foundation youth celebrated the Youth Day public holiday by participating in the Youth Day Trail run at Delvera presented by Sportsman’s Warehouse and Dirtopia. Two young ladies from the Anna Foundation’s after-school training programme at Simonsig achieved excellent results. On the 5Km run Tenichia Malgas came 2nd and Christelle Swart came 3rd in the 6-10 Overall Girls Category! Thanks to Dirtopia and Sportsman’s Warehouse for sponsoring and running the event....

The annual Nuy Valley Feast took place at the beautiful Leipzig Country House. The list of activities ranged from a MTB, fun walk and vineyards trail run, wine tasting, olive oil tastings, vineyards trails, tractor and wagon rides, fun activities for children and live music. 56 of our Anna Foundation learners from Leipzig, Memel, Nuwerus and Rouxbyn braved the cold to participate in the 5km Fun Run. On the 23rd of April this year, the VWS Race forWater was hosted at Elsenburg farm. Our learners from Simonsig farm and Buffet Olives farm participated in the 6km race, which followed farm tracks on the slopes of Klapmutskop.
